This is a direct bus route (bus shuttle) between the Liszt Ferenc airport terminal (BUD) and the city center. Its final destination is Deák Ferenc tér. This flight departs every 10 minutes during the day, and the ticket price is HUF 1,500 (EUR 2.75) one-way. IMPORTANT: Other types of tickets or passes cannot be used on this bus route! The journey takes about 40 minutes, but depending on the traffic, it can take longer.

 

Bus 200E

 

This bus connects Budapest airport with Kőbánya-Kispest railway station. From here, we can take Metro „number 3” to the city center (Deák Ferenc tér). This bus leaves the terminal every 10 minutes during the day, every 30 minutes after 22:00, and every 60 minutes after 24:00. The entire trip from the airport to the city center with the combination of this bus and subway to Deák Ferenc tér metro station takes about 1 hour during the day. However, you also have the option to board a train at Kőbánya-Kispest railway station. Train runs every 20 minutes and arrives at Budapest Nyugati railway station, the journey by train is approx. 20 minutes. If your destination is not Budapest, you can also board trains to Debrecen, Nyíregyháza and Szeged from here.
